For our inaugural event on the mainland, we aimed to empower girls by focusing on physical strength and health while showing how connection can be built through activity and sport in Oceanside, CA. The day was filled with exciting activities, including yoga, lei making, and a fun team challenge featuring beach flags, a swim relay, and surfing. We even had an impromptu Zumba dance session to keep the energy high, with a special surprise appearance from the legendary Kelly Slater. Surf stars Tatiana Weston Webb, Lakey Peterson, and Courtney Conlogue joined us to share their passion, along with skating sensation Nora Vasconcellos.
